Join Boston Children's Museum and the L.L.Bean Outdoor Discovery Program for a one hour guided kayak tour of historic Fort Point Channel. After a safety talk and brief paddle instruction on land, your L.L.Bean guides will launch you in your own kayak. You'll set out for a guided, interpretive tour with your group. You'll experience the freedom of skimming across the water, learning about the ecosystem and history of the Fort Point area.
To Reserve:
- Museum admission is required, advance, online registration for kayaking is free for children ages 8 and above with an adult. Please take note of your kayaking and Museum visitation time, your kayaking time may fall before or after your timeslot inside the Museum
- Children must be 8 or above and be accompanied by an adult.
- What to bring: Weather/activity-appropriate clothing (preferably synthetic), water shoes or shoes that can get wet, closed-toe recommended, personal prescriptions such as EpiPen or inhaler, one quart of water (no glass bottles).
- All necessary paddling and safety equipment is provided.
