Child Development Milestones

Child Development Milestones

Children grow and develop at different rates, moving through stages of physical, social and cognitive development. Developmental milestones represent functional skills and age-specific tasks you can follow as your child grows. Included below are informative “ages & stages” reference materials created by Born Learning, a partnership of the United Way, The Ad Council, Civitas, and the Families and Work Institute, designed to support parents in their critical role of nurturer and guide. This Your Child @ Series contains valuable information and recommendations for parents and caregivers on how to provide a healthy, safe and nurturing environment for young children.
