Mass Motion Dance Project Performance
Sunday, December 20, 1pm and 2pm.
An interactive program of contemporary dance by members of The Dance Project. The Dance Project is a community service student group committed to sharing the art of dance to a wide variety of local venues. This pre-professional performance group offers middle and high school students the opportunity to take their dance training outside of the classroom.

Boston Children’s Museum’s First Porchfest
Monday, December 28. Porchfests are annual community music festivals in which people play music on their front porches. In keeping with that spirit, Boston Children’s Museum is holding its first Porchfest featuring music, art and activities produced by members of our staff and community. All are invited!

Happy NOON Year

O-shogatsu! Japanese New Year Festival
Sunday, January 24, 11am–4pm. Welcome the New Year 2016 and bring good luck with TAIKO drums, a SHISHIMAI lion dance, MOCHI rice pounding, TAKO kite making and more! OSHOGATSU (New Year) is an important time for family and community to gather and wish for happiness and health for each other.

Saturday, January 30, 11am–3pm. It’s a winter party. Learn to make paper snowflakes, practice “sock skating”, explore new games to play indoors and out. Say hello to meteorologist Mish Michaels, as she tells the story of how a group of first-graders convinced the state of Massachusetts to name Ms. G our own official groundhog. Then, meet Ms. G herself!

South End Dynamites Performance
Sunday, January 31, 1pm. This baton twirling troupe features performers aged 5 to 21 who use their many talents to show how art can lead children to strive for a better future and open doors and leadership opportunities.

Boston Baroque Performance and Instrument Playground
Tuesday, February 16, 1:30pm and 2:30pm. Join us for a special interactive performance of Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons as Boston Baroque brings their Classics for Kids music series. Following the performance, try out real musical instruments with musicians from Boston Baroque.

Urbanity Dance Performance
