Program details

Join us for John Davies’ 30-minute children’s opera – a perfect introduction to a theater experience for young children and families.

Everyone thinks they know the story of Little Red Riding Hood but they don’t know the real story behind Little Red’s Most Unusual Day! We meet all the characters, some known and some new. There’s Little Red, herself, who loves life. There is Mom who loves her daughter, Red. There is Forest Ranger Dudley, who is in love with Red’s Mom. There is the wolf named Mr. BigBad – who loves himself. And there is Granny who just wants a date for the dance! They all come together for one big adventure.

This performance is co-produced by Boston Children’s Museum and Boston Conservatory at Berklee.
