The Wonder Ball
Join Us!
Saturday, May 2, 2026 at the InterContinental Boston
The Wonder Ball, the Museum’s signature fundraiser, is our annual opportunity to celebration the wonders of Boston Children’s Museum! The 2026 Wonder Ball, celebrating Carole Charnow, will honor the Museum’s retiring President and CEO and her extraordinary service and career. Join us to honor Carole’s 16 year tenure of leadership and help raise critical funding for the Museum’s access programs, ensuring that every child has access to the love of learning that Carole has helped nurture. Each year, over a third of the Museum’s visitation is through free or discounted tickets, and the generosity of our community makes this possible.

Our 2025 Boston Children’s Museum Marathon Team will run from Hopkinton to Boylston Street in the 129th Boston Marathon® on Monday, April 21st . We selected two dedicated runners to complete the historic course on our behalf, and fundraise along the way. Each runner will raise a minimum of $10,000 in support of the Helping Hands Campaign and the Museum’s mission to engage children and families like yours in joyful discovery experiences. Thank you, Brendan and Jude for running with kid power!

Lunch and Learn Lecture Series
The Museum regularly hosts speaker forums that feature experts on important issues affecting children and families. Past Lunch & Learn forums have addressed topics such as bullying, obesity, how children learn, mindfulness, and the moral development of children. Forums are held at the Museum and are open to the public. A small fee covers the cost of lunch.
