Join Boston Children’s Museum in celebrating making, creativity, and self expression at our annual CreatedBy Festival. This hands-on, interactive event highlights all things STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) and invites local artists, makers, and creative people to share what they do with Museum visitors in a hands-on way.

Safety in the Noise: A Collaborative Art Installation
Help contribute to a collaborative art piece with others at the Museum using upcycled materials. This project was developed by the Spare Studio, a second-hand art supply center located in Rockland, MA.

Kintsugi Art Workshop with Sayako Hiroi
Learn about the art of Japanese kintsugi from Boston-based artist Sayako Hiroi. Then create something of your own using broken ceramic and tile pieces in a kintsugi inspired workshop.

Explore tactile, interactive, 3D-printed Braille resources created by the Braille Forward initiative at Mountain Lakes Library Makerspace. Then, add to our community mural using a word printed on a Perkins Brailler.
