Proud to be Me!

Saturday, May 31, 10am–4pm

During Pride Month in June, we celebrate people being who they are and loving who they love. On the eve of Pride, join us for activities exploring self-expression, love, community, and activism within and beyond the LGBTQ+ community! Learn about some of the Pride traditions you might see during the next month with themed activities throughout the Museum and watch joyful performances and meet local LGBTQ+ organizations in The Common.

Activities

  • Paint your own face.
  • Play dress up and practice speaking together to make a bigger impact!
  • Listen to Museum Educators read stories about gender expression, trans identity, diversity in family structures, and more!
