Event Spaces

The Atrium & Plaza

With its 40-foot floor to ceiling windows looking out to downtown Boston, The Atrium is the ideal space for receptions and seated dinners.  A blend of the industrial and whimsical creates the perfect backdrop for any event. During warm weather months, glass “garage doors” may be opened to allow access to the outdoor adjoining Plaza.  Steps from Boston’s magnificent Fort Point Channel, the Plaza offers the most breathtaking views of the city skyline.

Atrium Capacity: 180 seated / 300 reception

Plaza Capacity:  160 seated / 200 reception

  

The Common

The second floor houses The Common, which is perfect for presentations, receptions, and seated dinners. The Common is easily accessed from the central staircase and main elevator and is adjacent to the exhibit spaces. The natural stage is perfect for presentations, performances, and dance floors.

The Common Capacity: 210 seated / 200 reception

Dewey/Seuss Conference Rooms

Located on the fifth floor and outside of the museum’s exhibit spaces, The Dewey and Seuss Conference Rooms are ideally suited for day or evening meetings. Accessed through the building’s business entrance, the conference rooms boast large windows offer views of the Fort Point Channel and Boston’s Financial District. These spaces are equipped with audio/visual equipment including a podium and a large projection screen.

Combined Capacity: 150 seated /200 reception
Dewey Capacity: 100 seated/125 reception
Seuss Capacity: 50 seated/75 reception

KidsStage

Just off the main Atrium on the first floor, is KidStage is the perfect addition to any event.  Theatre style seating provides a fun space for karaoke, comedy shows, or a movie night!

The Stage Capacity: Seating for up to 125 guests.
