Yawkey Foundation Gateway to Play Family Days at Boston Children’s Museum
This series of events welcomes families from Massachusetts Gateway cities for fun and play at the Museum. Families will receive transportation and Museum admission on selected days. Family Days are ideal for individual families and organizations looking to visit the Museum on weekends or in the summer. The Museum works with Gateway City organizations to schedule visits that originate from Gateway City locations and to inform local families about the events. Yawkey Foundation Gateway to Play group visits to Boston Children’s Museum
For Gateway city organizations, including schools, after-school and childcare programs, community centers, etc. Organizations are invited to visit Boston Children’s Museum with transportation and admission costs covered. Group visits are ideal for schools and organizations looking to schedule weekday visits during the school year and allow for groups to select their optimal visit date between Wednesdays and Fridays, 9am-4pm. Boston Children’s Museum: 2023 WHOI Ocean and Climate Outreach Series Presented by the Yawkey Foundation, September 24, 2023
This full-day climate-focused collaboration between Boston Children’s Museum and Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution includes a reception, presentation, Wild Kratts screening, and outdoor activities.

Boston Children’s Museum Family Ambassador Program sponsored by the Yawkey Foundation
Family Ambassadors are the Museum’s neighborhood-based representatives. Family Ambassadors receive Boston Children’s Museum memberships to bring guest families from their own cities and neighborhoods on visits to the Museum. Traditionally, Family Ambassadors have represented neighborhoods from within Boston and through the support of the Yawkey Foundation, this program will extend to families in Gateway cities.
