Program details

Join us as we welcome local friends and families to share their Diwali experiences. Explore the sights, sounds, and spirit of this holiday together.

Diwali comes from the word Deepavali meaning “row of lamps” and is celebrated in many places around the world, including here in our communities, by Hindus, Sikhs, Jains, and Buddhists.

To honor this special time, the Art Lab will be decorated with lights to welcome visitors. Attend a Rangoli art demonstration, check out the Diwali book nook, visit the Diwali Puja altar, presented by one of our community partners, and more.
