Come learn about the stories behind objects, or belongings, that have been collected by Boston Children’s Museum over the years. This discussion-based program will examine whether an object should be kept or returned to its original owner, with a focus on fairness and empathy. Led by Boston Children’s Museum’s Director of Collections & Archives, visitors will also learn about the Native American Graves Protection Act, and the significance of the histories these objects hold.
Please note: This program will talk about topics like loss, graves, and theft.
In honor of Indigenous Peoples’ Day, we invite you to enjoy free admission to the Boston Children’s Museum on Monday, October 14, 2024. Limited to the first 100 reservations. Visit the ticket page and enter code: IPD101424 to register.
